I am Nitesh Shashikanth, PhD student at UIUC. I have been involved with ASHA for education as a volunteer and Food co-ordinator, for the past 3 years. I have also begun to take part in the CU Marathon since last year, when I ran a 5K and now I am stepping up to run a 10K this year, with an ambition to run a full marathon within the next 3 years.
Running, as an exercise has changed my life from an obese individual to a normal, active person! And to run for ASHA, for the benefit of educating underprivileged children doubles my enthusiasm for staying fit throughout , and will also help me achieve a personal goal but all for a good cause!!!
So Please help me raise funds for ASHA, since every dollar you donate makes a great impact on a child who deserves to be educated but has not been fortunate like us. The more you donate, the more I will be inspired and will inspire others to run for a great cause!
